1. Otesha In Your BC Community

Otesha's first two tours are peddling through BC this spring (May 1-June 30) and we want to connect with you. We are looking for places for 18 funky people on bikes to sleep; food to feed them; and information about cool events and organizations they should visit along the way. Most importantly, we are looking for places to present: if you live (or have contacts) along the route and would like to see The Otesha Project at your school or community group, please get in touch with us!

The Sunshine Coast Tour: starts in Vancouver and pedals up
the coast to Powell River. It then travels the entire length of Vancouver Island, from Port Hardy to Victoria, including Quadra Island, Sointula and Port Alberni. Key areas needing some love are Courtenay/Comox and Campbell River.

The Rocky Mountain Tour: starts in Vancouver and passes through New Westminster, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Merritt, Kelowna, Vernon, and Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Golden, Banff, Canmore, and finishes in Calgary.

We look forward to hearing from you!

3- Otesha’s Fifth Birthday

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Otesha’s Fifth Birthday! From encouraging words, to inspiring ideas, to financial support. Every one of these contributions makes a world of difference to us. We had set a fundraising goal of $5,000, which we have surpassed! We have now received $6,362! Thank you for joining us in this world changing adventure.

5- Postcard of the Month

“I am going to cook all my meals at home this week. No takeaways. No coffees in plastic mugs! I’m going to prepare and plan and save packaging and money!”
