Our Partners and Supporters

Share |

The Otesha Project would like to express its gratitude to the organizations, foundations, and businesses that have supported Otesha throughout the years. Whether it be through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or collaborative partnerships, our supporters help keep our programs running and our bikes pedalling. We warmly thank the following groups for their support:

Echo Foundation

Otesha’s 2015 East Coast Cycling and Performing Tour is made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Echo Foundation. The Montreal-based private charitable foundation supports environmental initiatives in Eastern Canada, and with their amazing support, our team of pedal-powered sustainability advocates will engage with thousands of students this fall. Escape Bicycle Tours

Escape Bicycle Tours has partnered with Otesha to help prospective tour members who face financial difficulty paying their program fee. The Ottawa-based company generously donates 2.5 per cent of every sale to the new Escape Bursary Fund to give young changemakers from all walks of life the chance to make a difference. Huma Charity Challenge

Time and again, Olumni finish a tour fired up to keep the changemaking adventure going. To help scratch that itch, we've partnered with Huma Charity Challenge: an organization that combines adventure travel with charitable giving. Simply nominate Otesha as the charity you'd like to fundraise for, select a travel experience that appeals to you the most, choose a departure date and join like-minded changemakers from around the globe. Unifor

Unifor has established the Cliff Pilkey Changemaker Bursary with The Otesha Project to give changemakers and aspiring changemakers alike the opportunity to participate in an Otesha tour. Cliff Pilkey was a union leader with the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union who was committed to workplace health and safety, equity and workers rights. Click here to learn more.
