Sierra Youth Coalition
The SYC has a national network of dedicated youth working on a variety of social and environmental issues; a great place for you to get involved!
Leaders Today
Leaders today runs an academy in Toronto where Jess and Joss both got training on the skills needed to be great leaders... They are inspiring, motivating, and changing the world every day by giving youth the skills to make their voices heard!

The Youth Environment Network helps network YENGO's across Canada, as well as offering them training and advice. They can help you get connected in your area, as they have helped us!
Youth X Change
This UNESCO-UNEP project has a great website and handbook, and is working on providing a sustainable consumption toolkit. This is one of our favourites, as it is helping youth around the world (including us) to work together and make change happen!

Adbusters is an alternate form of media that questions consumerism, corporations, societal values, and attitudes towards our environment. Their thought provoking images play a role in our presentations.
LOKI Design Labs
LOKi Design Labs is an independent design studio based in Montréal, Québec working who worked with the Otesha Project in 2003. Its focus is on creating work that challenges dominant communication paradigms.

Dr. William Rees
Dr. Rees is one of the original creators of the ecological footprint concept, and was an incredible help to us in the initial stages of the project.
Peace and Environment Resource Center
The Peace and Environment Resource Center in Ottawa, run by Mike Kaulbars, has one of the most interesting libraries we've ever seen, and runs a great newspaper. Mike in particular has been a mentor, forcing us to consider, and reconsider our philosophies.
The David Suzuki Foundation
Chaired by environmental superstar Dr. David Suzuki, the Foundation has launched an awesome Nature Challenge and is partnering with us in their outreach aspect.
Typeleft Publishing
Typeleft is a partnership between programmer Izaak Branderhorst and graphic designer Natasha Geerts in Montreal. Together they built the revamped and revised edition of otesha.ca in 2004.
