Looking for a way to vote with your dollar? Why not vote for Otesha! We're dedicated to keeping our programs equally accessible to everyone - but that also means that one of our biggest challenges is money. Donations are what have made this project a reality, and we have been amazed by people's generosity. Whether it is a monetary contribution or an in-kind donation, every bit does bring us one pedal closer to a better world. When we're on tour, we also need places to pitch our tents and food to fill our bellies (donations of either help keep our costs down), so let us know if you can help with that as well!

We have set forward an ambitious five year plan in which we plan to more than double the annual delivery of our programs. To make this possible, we are moving away from grants based funding, and towards financial sustainability. We have set this year’s fundraising goal at $5,000.

The Otesha Project is a registered charity in Canada and we issue tax receipts for all applicable donations. Our Charitable Registration Number is 85723 3803 RR001.

Here are some examples of what your tax deductible gift will help Otesha accomplish:

Monthly Gift
$7.50 a month can fuel an entire bike tour during a day of grueling mountain climbing.
$10 a month can provide a team with a second-hand bike trailer for our car free tours.
$25 a month can ensure that Otesha can provide an additional scholarship to a bike tour member who would otherwise be unable to participate.

Or, you can make a single gift

$40 can provide two copies of the Otesha Book free of charge to a high school library.
$125 can provide a scholarship to one high school student to attend a Triple-H training weekend.
$300 can sponsor an Otesha Bike Tour Presentation for up to 300 youth at a Canadian school.  

Donations can be made securely online with a credit card at canadahelps.ca.  You can also send a cheque (made payable to “The Otesha Project”), to the office at 72 Riverdale Ave., Ottawa, ON, K1S 1R2.  All donations above $20 are tax deductible.
